  John Lennon (Full-name: John Winston Lennon 1940-1980) was an English musician, singer, and songwriter who rose to fame as a member of The Beatles, one of the most popular and influential bands in the history of rock music. Born in Liverpool, England, Lennon formed the Beatles in 1960 with Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.  When he was 17 years old, his mother Julia Elizabeth Stanley died (15/07/1958). When he was 35 years old, his father Alfred Lennon died (01/04/1976).

 On 23/08/1962, he married Cynthia Lillian Powell 10/09/1939 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom. On 20 March 1969, he married Yoko Ono 18 Februaray 1933. He was 21 years old when he married Cynthia Lillian Powell, who was 22 years old at that time. He was 28 years old when he married Yoko Ono. He got divorced from Cynthia Lillian Powell in 1968. He had one son with Cynthia Lillian Powell: Julian Lennon 8 April 1963.. John Lennon was married to Yoko Ono from 20 March 1969 until his death on 8 December 1980. So, they were married for 11 years.
