Album Description: Don't Break The Oath is the 1984 and second studio album released by the Danish Heavy Metal band "Mercyful Fate". This album was produced by Henrik Lund and recorded at the Easy Sound Recording Studio, Copenhagen, Denmark.
"Mercyful Fate" is an influential Danish First Wave of Black Metal group who are often cited among the influences in the black metal, thrash metal, power metal, and progressive metal genres. They are also credited as a pioneering band of the first wave of black metal.

Thomas Holm started his career as art designer in the early 1980's and has done the album covers for bands like: Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Spartan Warrior, Dark Heart. For the "King Diamond" and "Mercyful Fate" albums he has often been working together with "Thorbjorn Jorgensen".
Studio Dzyan ( album artwork and graphics design ) was founded by Thorbjorn Jorgensen and has worked with both Thomas Holm and Thorbjorn Jorgensen to illustrate 1980s albums by "King Diamond" and "Spartan Warrior".

Ole Bang ( Photographer ) During the 1980's Ole Bang has done much of the photo work for Mercyful Fate and King Diamond albums.
Kim Bendix Petersen better known by his stage name King Diamond , is a Danish heavy metal musician. As a vocalist, he is known for his extensive vocal range, in particular his usage of falsetto. He started his career in 1974 with a band called Brainstorm and has since performed with "Black Rose", Brats, "Danger Zone", "Mercyful Fate" and the eponymous "King Diamond" band.
Rene Krollmark is from Denmark and was born in 1958. He is also known under the aliases Hank De Wank, Hank Shermann started his musical career as guitar player in 1977 with a band called Brats, this was followed by "Danger Zone", "Mercyful Fate", Fate, Lavina, "Zoser Mez"
Michael Denner is a Danish heavy-metal guitarist. He is part of the heavy metal duo Denner/Shermann with Hank Shermann. Michael Denner plays guitar with Brats from 1979-1980, Mercyful Fate from 1981-1996 (with several interruptions.
Timmi "Grabber" Hansen is a Danish bass player. He played in the Danish heavy metal band Mercyful Fate from 1981 to 1985 and from 1992 to 1993, and King Diamond from 1985 to 1987. Before joining "Mercyful Fate" TImmi Hansen performed together with Michael Denner in a band called "Danger Zone".
Kim Ruzz ( real name: Kim Thyge Jensen) has been playing drums from 1981-1985 in the Danish Thrash metal band: " Mercyful Fate".
