The band's third album, "Bloodshot," was released in 1973 and featured the hit single "Give it to Me."
The J. Geils Band's breakthrough album was "Live Full House," which was recorded in 1972 and released in 1973. The album captured the band's energetic live performance and included their hit single "Must of Got Lost." The band's next album, "Ladies Invited," was released in 1973 and included the hit single "Angel in Blue."
In 1977, the J. Geils Band released their most successful album, "Monkey Island." The album included the hit singles "Southside Shuffle" and "I Do." The band's next album, "Sanctuary," was released in 1978 and included the hit single "One Last Kiss."
The J. Geils Band continued to tour and release albums throughout the 1980s, but their popularity began to wane. In 1982, the band released their final top 40 hit, "Freeze-Frame," which was the title track of their album released that same year. The band's final album, "You're Gettin' Even While I'm Gettin' Odd," was released in 1984.
