DR. Hook Records

Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show was an American rock band, formed in Union City, New Jersey. The band was known for its humorous songs and strong country and folk influences. The group was active from 1968 to 1985 and had several hit songs including "Sylvia's Mother," "The Cover of 'Rolling Stone'," and "When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman." The band was named after its fictional spokesperson, "Dr. Hook."
