Triumph's double live album, "Stages," released in 1985, is a dynamic collection of live performances spanning from 1981 to 1984, featuring two new studio tracks, "Mind Games" and "Empty Inside." This monumental release was produced by the band themselves and benefited from the expertise of sound/recording engineers Ed Stone, Hugh Cooper, Noel Golden, and David Runstedler. The album was mixed at Metalworks Studios in Ontario, Canada, during June-August 1985 and mastered at Masterdisk, New York, by the skilled hands of Bob Ludwig. TRIUMPH - Surveillance (1987)

Triumph's "Surveillance," their ninth studio album, marked a significant moment in their history, released on July 27. Recorded at Metalworks Studios in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, it also served as the final album with original guitarist and singer Rik Emmett. The album was expertly produced by Thom Trumbo and Triumph themselves, with mastering by Bob Ludwig at Masterdisk Corp, New York City. The album's striking design, credited to "The Boardroom Baintrust," featured an illustration by Dean Motter of Modern Imageworks, with design by Steelworks and art direction by J.A./Lou Mann.
