      Brian Connolly was an English musician, best known as the lead vocalist and one of the founding members of the rock band Sweet. He was born on October 5, 1945, in Hamilton, Scotland, and moved to London in the early 1960s where he started his music career. He formed Sweet in 1968 with bassist Steve Priest, guitarist Andy Scott, and drummer Mick Tucker. He sang lead vocals and contributed to the songwriting in all of Sweet's albums.

     Connolly was known for his powerful and distinctive voice, which was a major part of Sweet's sound. He was also known for his charismatic stage presence and his ability to perform both hard rock and ballads. He was an important member of the band and played in all the band's albums until his departure in 1979. He left the band due to health problems and personal issues. He continued to perform as a solo artist and released albums under his own name. He passed away on February 9, 1997 due to liver failure.

He played guitar, provided backing vocals and contributed to the songwriting in all of Sweet's albums.

     Scott was known for his powerful and melodic guitar playing, which was a key part of Sweet's sound. He was also known for his flamboyant stage presence and his use of guitar effects. He was an important member of the band and played in all the band's albums until their disbanding in 1981 and played in reunion concerts later on. He also played in other bands and projects, but is mostly known for his work with Sweet. He continues to tour and perform with Sweet, as well as with his own band, Andy Scott's Sweet.

      Steve Priest an English musician, best known as the bassist and one of the founding members of the rock band Sweet. He was born on February 23, 1948, in Hayes, London, England. He started playing bass guitar in the early 1960s and formed Sweet in 1968 with lead vocalist Brian Connolly, guitarist Andy Scott, and drummer Mick Tucker. He played bass guitar, provided backing vocals and contributed to the songwriting in all of Sweet's albums.

     Tucker was known for his powerful and dynamic drumming, which was a key part of Sweet's sound. He was also known for his energetic stage presence and his ability to play complex drum fills and solos. He was an important member of the band and played in all the band's albums until their disbanding in 1981 and played in reunion concerts later on. He also played in other bands and projects, but is mostly known for his work with Sweet. He passed away on February 14, 2002 due to leukemia.
