Airrace was a British rock band formed in 1982 by vocalist Keith Murrell, guitarist Laurie Mansworth, bassist Jim Reid, keyboard player Toby Sadler, and drummer Jason Bonham. The band was signed to Atco Records in 1983 and released their debut album, Shaft of Light, in 1984. The album was produced by Beau Hill and featured a mix of hard rock and melodic rock, with influences from bands like Led Zeppelin, Foreigner, and Journey.
