Skagarack's Self-Titled Debut: A Danish Hard Rock Offering in a Hair Metal World
Album Description:

Released in 1985, Skagarack's eponymous debut album emerged during a time when the global music scene was dominated by the glitz and glam of hair metal bands. Yet, this Danish quintet offered a different flavor, rooted in classic hard rock with a bluesy undertone.

The band's sound was characterized by Torben Schmidt's powerful vocals, Jan Petersen's blues-infused guitar riffs, and Tommy Rasmussen's subtle keyboard additions.

Produced by Jan Eilasson, with sound engineering by Alan Moulder, the album was recorded at El Sound Studio in Copenhagen and Trident Studios in London. This blend of Danish and British recording spaces gave the album a unique sonic character, combining the raw energy of Scandinavian rock with the polished sound of a renowned London studio.
