Van Morrison, born on August 31, 1945, is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and musician. In the 1980s and 1990s, Morrison's musical style shifted towards a more R&B and soul-influenced sound. He continued to release successful albums, including "Inarticulate Speech of the Heart" and "Avalon Sunset." Morrison also collaborated with other artists during this time, including John Lee Hooker and Bob Dylan.
