Alcatrazz was an American rock band that emerged in the mid-1980s. The band was formed by former Rainbow vocalist Graham Bonnet and featured several prominent musicians, including guitarist Steve Vai, who had previously played with Frank Zappa. Alcatrazz's 1985 studio album, "Disturbing the Peace" , is widely regarded as one of the band's most iconic works. T The album's themes are also reflective of the political and cultural landscape of the 80s. The song "Disturbing the Peace" touches on themes of social injustice and political corruption, while "Desert Diamond" tells the story of a woman who leaves her home in search of a better life.
